Mr James Iqbal

James Iqbal is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till August 2023.

He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal on a reserved seat for minorities in the 2018 Pakistani general election.

Our vision is to unite all minority representatives in Pakistan, including those in the Senate, National Assembly, Provincial Assemblies of Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, Punjab, and other provinces, as well as members from Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. The Forum aims to create a collaborative space where members can address and resolve minor issues collectively. Through our efforts, we strive to be a solid voice for minorities, advocating for their rights, education, employment, and other pertinent matters.
  • Facilitate collaboration among minority representatives from various political parties.
  • Address and resolve issues affecting minorities at the provincial and national levels.
  • Advocate for the rights of minorities in legislative bodies.
  • Work towards creating a platform for dialogue with political parties.
  • Conduct workshops, conventions, and establish a debating society to foster dialogue and awareness
  • Workshops: We will organize workshops to enhance the capacity of our members in parliamentary procedures and minority-related issues.
  • Conventions:Regular conventions will provide a platform for open discussions on pertinent matters.
  • Debating Society:Establishing a debating society will encourage constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas among our members.
  • Legislation and Political Party Involvement:We aim to actively participate in legislative processes and work collaboratively within political parties to address minority concerns.
